We are Canadians, producing unique Canadian products, supporting Canadian agriculture.
Shears to You Fibre Pro's came into being September 1, 2010, following the business restructuring of the former Shears to You fibre mill. The name has changed, but the location, equipment, and the majority of the award winning staff remains the same. The focus of our production has shifted from mostly custom fibre processing to the production of end products for wholesale and retail.
To accomplish this, only custom work of large batches of properly skirted, sorted fibre will be considered as our schedule allows. Producers will be interviewed to assess their skirting and sorting skills before we accept their fibre for custom processing.
As always, Shears to You Fibre Pro's uses only meticulously sorted and graded Canadian alpaca fibre to make each of its consistently high quality end products. The processing of all of our products is done only in Canada.
Current end products available are:
Star Trekker socks
Multi-purpose outdoor sock that wicks away moisture for dry, happy feet.
Relaxed Fit socks
Non-restricting sock for persons with impaired leg circulation or diabetes.
Pro's Choice socks
Ankle height sock for athletic summer wear or cozy bed socks.
Terry Pro's socks
Full terry sock for 'stand-in-the-snow-bank' warmth.
Medium weight mitts
Cozy warmth without the bulk; may also be used as liners.
50% alpaca and 50% wool for wicking and that warm, cushy feeling under your feet.
Products currently in development are a fully terry mitt and medium weight gloves.
All products made at Shears to You Fibre Pro's are 100% Canadian made from 100% Canadian fibres purchased from Canadian alpaca producers.
